Packard German Spindle Gouge – 1-1/4″

This large spindle gouge is great for roughing and long curves. It has a shallow flute. It is made of forged M2 high speed steel to hold an edge a long time. The tool is not for faceplate work. Tool length is approx. 7″ with a 14″ handle.  The 1-1/4″ size designation refers to the distance across the flute.
