GF Wood Bowl Finish – Pt

Also known as Salad Bowl Finish, it is perfect for finishing kitchen utensils and bowls that come in contact with food.  This easy to work with, low odor finish protects against moisture and oils and is food safe when dry.  It is applied by wiping on with a clean, soft cloth, making final strokes with the grain of the wood. Allow to dry overnight and repeat. General Finishes recommends a minimum of 3 coats making Wood Bowl Finish dishwasher safe.  The sheen ranges from Semi Gloss to Gloss depending on the number of coats and can be rubbed out for a lower sheen with a non woven handpad. Maintain the finish simply by applying another coat when needed.  Dry time is 12-24 hours.
