Unhandled Version
The Wood Beater was designed by Mike Mahoney for efficient material removal and shaping. It has a 3/4″ diameter and slightly shorter flute, which helps to provide vibration dampening while turning.Â
These Signature Tools hold an edge up to 3 times longer than M2 high speed steel alone thanks to the addition of 10% Cobalt. They come hand polished and sharpened so they are ready to use.
Please note: Gouges are sized by the diameter of steel used.
