C&S Mahoney Shear Shaper – Unhandled

Mike Mahoney designed this shear shaper with efficiency in mind.  It sports a long grind with a convex surface which helps make contact with the exterior of a bowl.

These Signature Mike Mahoney Tools by Carter and Son hold an edge up to 3 times longer than M2 high speed steel alone thanks to the addition of 10% Cobalt. They come hand polished and sharpened so they are ready to use.

Please note: Gouges are sized by the diameter of steel used.
