The Bottom Feeder was designed by Mike Mahoney to have a traditional blunt grind profile that results in a tool that handles end-grain fiber and other difficult wood grains with ease.

These Signature Mike Mahoney Tools by Carter and Son hold an edge up to 3 times longer than M2 high speed steel alone thanks to the addition of 10% Cobalt. They come hand polished and sharpened so they are ready to use.

Please note: Gouges are sized by the diameter of steel used.
